Corporate blogging? MAD not to.

..long live the new PR -  or so said the founder of online news distributor Ulitzer, Fuat Kircaali in his blog yesterday. Well I guess that should be taken with one or two anti agenda inflamatories but one thing he said deserves a separate quote:

“Tomorrow’s (and I mean tomorrow, not the next decade) marketing game will be played on professional corporate blogging platforms. The companies with the largest number of well-read and respected corporate bloggers will win the marketing and propaganda games. Larger companies will need larger armies of corporate bloggers.”

This makes sense and stands the test of pre-internet business behaviour. Back in the 60′s if a Madison Avenue advertisement firm wanted to impress a big brand, they’d wheel in their biggest guns – Roger Sterling, Don Draper. They certainly wouldn’t leave it all to young Pete Campbell.

Who knows how many pitches are lost on a company’s website before the meeting even has chance to happen. Creating a corporate blog is becoming essential to the pre-meeting sale process (not to mention SEO), putting the big hitters out there to demonstrate the knowledge store, ability and philosphy of their company.

I confess you may need a small anti agenda inflamatory here too as we offer a corporate blogging management service which makes all this possible.
